Boonaa Mohammed

Dubbed the “voice of a generation,” Boonaa Mohammed is a critically acclaimed award winning writer and performer with accolades including a playwright residency at Theatre Passe Muraille, a short story published in a Penguin Canada anthology called “Piece by Piece” and various slam poetry titles credits including winner of the 2007 CBC Poetry Face-Off “Best New Artist” award.

Yasser Zia

Yasser Zia is Professional Software Trainer in Telecommunications and an NLP trained Personal Development Coach. He was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. He is passionate about youth da’wah, with a focus on bridging the cultural and religious integration in today’s society. His vision is to develop Identity and Leadership in the next generation of muslims through delivering programs on Self Esteem, Communication Skills, Time Management and Life Visioning.

A wellness seeker at heart, Yasser believes in holistic health and a positive home environment.  Yasser and his wife are both Certified Cupping Therapists. The couple also teaches the first and only segregated pre-natal class for expecting muslim couples.
